5.5.10 - Early Season Blitz

Lots of fish being taken all over the cape.  The bay side has fish, the sounds has fish, and the usual schoolie spots are holding fish.  Exciting stuff to the start of the season.  I hope it continues.

Cod fishing on the bank has been solid.  Flounder have not really been easy to find.

Best bets:  Hit Mill Pond in Chatham at high tide or on the outgoing.  Town Cove in Orleans should be heating up today or tomorrow (i.e. Soon!).  Barnstable Harbor - Always a good early season hot spot is loaded up and should produce for weeks if not months to come.

4.27.10

Schoolies are finally being taken in steady numbers along the south side of the Cape.  Keepers up toward the canal?...Still waiting on pictures.

Cod and Haddock abound out at Stellwagen.  Taug are everywhere and some big ones have mixed in.  Flounder should be increasing in numbers any day now.

Dust 'em off, sharpen those hooks, and get out on the water!
